Terms of Service
Version date: August 13, 2026
1. Purpose and current scope
Lead to Scope is preparing a service for homeowner Project Files and contractor requests. These terms describe the planned rules for that service and will be replaced or supplemented by the operative terms that identify the legal operator, effective date, contact information, governing law, dispute process, billing terms, and support process before public accounts, payments, or Project Files become available.
2. Homeowner Project Files
Homeowners can create a Project File for each home project, add the details they choose, and share the Project File with named professionals when they are ready. Each project uses one living Project File that the homeowner can update as plans take shape.
3. Contractor requests
A contractor request starts a private invitation for a named homeowner. The contractor’s team can access a Project File only after the homeowner confirms the Project File and chooses to share it with that team.
4. Contractor credits
Contractors will use credits to start requests, with current credit options shown on the Pricing page. A credit remains available while a request is unfinished and is used after the homeowner confirms and shares the Project File with the contractor’s team.
5. Responsible use
Users will use Lead to Scope for genuine home-project discussions and will:
- Provide information they are entitled to share
- Respect the privacy of the people involved in a project
- Use Project File information only for the homeowner’s requested project conversation and related next steps
6. Project decisions remain with the participants
Lead to Scope helps participants organize project information and prepare for a more useful conversation. Homeowners and contractors remain responsible for their own project decisions, professional relationships, scopes of work, estimates, contracts, and services.
